Employee of the Month
The July nominee of the month works nights. Join us in Congratulating Tierney Severe. She is our July Employee of the Month. Tierney is so fantastic, she received two nominations for EOM and won by a landslide!
When Tierney Severe called and said that she was leaving Clifton, Texas to move back “home” and build a house, we were ecstatic. She had attended Howard College, Angelo State University for her RN, and The University of Texas at Arlington for her BNS. While attending those schools she received honors including being on the Dean’s List, Phi Theta Kappa, and Magna Cum Laude Honors.
She has a work history of being a school nurse, a sonographer, heading up quality and impressive titles like team leader, case manager and auditor. This girl is a natural born leader!
As a registered nurse, she shows ownership and a deep dedication to her work and our hospital. She is dependable, flexible, and dependable. Tierney is being honored today, not just because of the work she does day to day, but for the extracurricular work she took on.
OB had a plan to redo their courtyard. Tierney decided to make it her personal mission to make that courtyard beautiful! She was active in planning the design and she purchased supplies. She went the extra mile on her days off building planter boxes. She directed all activities on the courtyard workday, and she exceeded everyone’s expectations.
Tierney is an engaged employee and shows her love for her unit, this hospital, and her patients. She had the opportunity to be effective, accepted the challenge, and made an enormous impact on her team. Her hard work is fuel for OB staff and her selflessness and dedication to the improvement of OB makes her invaluable. Thank you, Tierney.
