May Employee of the Month.
Today we will recognize a long tenured Environmental Services employee. We have gone through many surveys since Donis McCluskey started here and we’ve always been told the EVS department is exemplary. Our last survey was no exception. Our hospital not only LOOKS clean and sanitized – it IS clean and sanitized.
Until recently, directors were not eligible to be nominated, but if anyone is deserving of this honor, it would be Donis. He has always been a leader in employee engagement and satisfaction. He ensures that no one on his staff goes hungry and he is a compassionate leader.
He was recognized for his kindness and willingness to help with donations for our fundraisers. He generously donates his time and talents to raise money and cook the BEST burgers. Donis served in the United States Navy from 1965-1969. We thank him for his service. He is a true patriot and leads us in the Pledge of Allegiance each morning at huddle.
Donis has a kind heart. He loves his family and beams with pride when he speaks of his wife and son. He has been at our hospital for 27 years and has experienced many changes. Through all those changes, he has remained a loyal employee. His work ethic and values are praiseworthy. His dedication to working harder and smarter than yesterday is an example to everyone on our team. Thank you, Donis, for giving your best every day.
