Our June Employee of the Month was described as “extra” by her director, Cody Paty. That’s because she is always doing extra, going the extra mile, or making extra efforts to help her patients.
Mary McIntosh was nominated for employee of the month by a patient’s mother. The nomination stated that in the beginning when the diagnosis was new, symptoms were severe and taking a toll on her daughter’s day to day tasks, Mary was encouraging, a sounding board, a mentor, a leader, a counselor, and a kind ear. “Mary was a great communicator with my daughter about where she was progressing or had lingering issues”. All these small actions displayed Mary’s investment in her daughter’s success.
Mary is exactly what and who (the patient) needed. She invested in the child personally to achieve the best possible outcome. “We feel lucky that Mary is the particular physical therapist that the Lord placed in our lives during this season.”
Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital also feels very lucky to have Mary McIntosh as a physical therapist since 2018. Mary graduated from Texas Tech University and is a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
