I was raised in Nolan as a child, until Divide High School consolidated with Blackwell High School. I graduated from Blackwell and attended Angelo State University. I graduated ASU in 1999 with a bachelor's degree of science, majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry. I started my medical career at Shannon Medical Center dispatching the Helicopter and working as an ER Tech. In 2003 I started x-ray training at Hendricks School of Radiology. After graduating from Radiology school, I got licensed in X-ray, CT, and MRI. In 2016, I moved back to Blackwell and started working at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital. I became the Director of Radiology at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital in 2020.
