I Graduated from Baird High School in 2002 and began my college career at Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, TX. I began a career in healthcare prior to nursing as a PT/OT tech, then as a phlebotomist, then a tech in ICU (where I decided to go to nursing school), and finally as a patient care tech/ scrub tech in labor and delivery during RN school where I discovered that obstetrics was my true calling. I graduated from Cisco College in Abilene, TX with my associate degree RN in 2010. I worked at Hendrick Medical Center North for 2 years as an RN in OB, then Abilene Regional Medical Center (now HMC South) for 9 years as an RN in OB, then Texas Health Stephenville for 1 year in OB as a travel RN (which is where I fell in love with rural healthcare).
My journey began with RPMH in August of 2022 as a travel RN where I was embraced and welcomed by some of the greatest healthcare professionals, I’ve ever had the pleasure to work alongside. RPMH is truly like a second family. While working here, I quickly became passionate for the obstetrical needs, as well as the potential for advancement and growth in Nolan County and decided to take a leap of faith by assuming the role of Director of Obstetrics in February of2023. Iam happily married to my best friend, Kylan, who is a Borden County native, and together we have 3 beautiful children. We own horses and cattle and enjoy spending most of our free time together at ranch rodeos or doing anything agriculture related. Given that we are both small town kids, this community feels like home.
I take immense pride in helping direct the path of the Obstetrical unit here at RPMH, as well as doing my very best to ensure we are providing exceptional care to all our patients, who choose to trust us with such an important, and special time in their lives. #OurFamilyCaringForYours
