Hello! My name is Leila Rubio.I’m a local West Texas girl. I grew up in Sweetwater, and my husband is fromRoscoe. I graduated from college at Hardin-Simmons University and I received mymedical degree and training through Texas Tech in Lubbock. It took nine years to achieve my dream, and in 2020 I moved back to Sweetwater to join RPMH.
I provide high quality medical care for people of all ages. Literally, from sperm to worm, and womb to tomb. My favorite part of this job is taking care of women and their babies. I love getting to watch women blossom into new moms, and it is so fun to watch the babies I have delivered grow up. I am also a teacher at heart. I enjoy educating patients about their bodies and health. My goal is to guide you safely through your pregnancy while letting you make your own decisions along the way.
I’m a simple person. I value family time, and I love dogs. I speak fluent Spanish. I have tattoos and a nose piercing, and if you see me without scrubs, you probably wouldn’t even realize I’m a doctor. Come meet me at the Rural Health Clinic. I would love to help you!
