We were at the West Texas Rodeo Finals in Sweetwater when my dad started experienced abdominal and lower back pain. He said he had never experienced that type of pain before, so I took him to your ER. We were greeted by your receptionist and were immediately taken back to a room where a whole team was awaiting us. Doctor, nurse, etc. I felt like they were more concerned about him that how he was going to pay. The WHOLE staff was amazing. My dad takes several medications, but he didn't know the names or doses. The nurse, Melissa (Barnes), told him he should always keep a list. I was able to call his pharmacy and get them but when I wrote them down, I had no idea about the spelling. I took them straight to Melissa as soon as I got them and before we left there, she brough us a very neatly, hand-printed list on a small sheet of a notepad and told him that he could keep that in his billfold. That was something she did that was above and beyond. She didn't have to take the time to do that, but she did. We really appreciate the level ofcare he received that day. Everything is always better when people act like they really care.
