Did You Know? The PADRES Program is at RPMH

Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital is partnered with the PADRES Program

There is a very exciting service that is offered here at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital that you may not be aware of.  We are blessed to have the Abilene Recovery Council offering the PADRES Program in our hospital. They started about two years ago and they office out of our Tiny Blessings room in OB on Thursdays.  This is a program geared towards parents, both male and female that might need a little extra help when it comes to the challenges of raising a child and keeping a healthy relationship with your significant other.  This program offers incentives to individuals wanting to participate.  The types of issues they assist with are as follows:

  • Financial Distress
  • Late or Insufficient Prenatal Care
  • Current or Past Mental Health Issues
  • Teen Pregnancy
  • Current or Past Involvement with CPS
  • Current or Past use or Dependence on Alcohol or Drugs
  • Current or Past Domestic Violence
  • Living with a Person who Misuses Drugs or Alcohol
  • Many other Services not Listed

The program offers everything from individual counseling, nurturing parenting classes, anger management courses, substance use counseling, family group counseling, STI education, HIV rapid testing, pregnancy testing, screening, assessments, and referrals.  All calls or completely CONFIDENTIAL.

If you could benefit or know someone who could benefit from these free services please call Adam J. Crockett LMSW, LCDC at 325-266-2897 or Jade Martinez LCDC Program Director 325-673-2242 to schedule a time to visit.
